Mobile Training Unit

J.H.S.B.'s Advanced Mobile Units for Law Enforcement Training (A.M.U.L.E.T.) allows us to bring the same quality training and certifications to all of your personnel where and when they need it.

Why a mobile unit?

Usually, personnel receive basic training and then are sent to their unit or hired by a department. After time, some personnel receive specialty training (where they are sent to a school or seminar for a particular specialty) and they are expected to bring the training back for others. Although the specialist brings back this training, something is usually lost in the transfer of information to the other personnel. Usually, the specialist is not an instructor and the training facility or equipment is not adequate for the training, so the training is not exactly the same quality for all. We would like the opportunity to bring specialized training to all your people through our state-of-the-art Mobile Training Unit. Our mobile courses are customizable, so we can customize each level to fit your department’s specific training area of importance.

What is it?

AMULET comprises 3 completely self-contained 53 foot semi-trailer combinations.

  • Unit One is strictly a high tech audio/visual classroom. This trailer is used for most of our mobile courses, providing a practice area for specific scenarios, as well as for the first three levels of force.
  • Unit Two has a complete, FIRE ARMS TRAINING SYSTEM (FATS) simulator, for all level of force scenarios and 8-lane simulated marksmanship training with full feedback. For judgemental training, there is a hostile return fire system. Supplied wireless firearms are the advanced "Blue Fire" system, allowing the operator to incorporate misfires, malfunctions and more during scenarios.
  • Unit Three is a mobile live firearms trailer designed so the officers can use their duty firearms for practical judgemental training combined with our simulation programs. This is the third and final phase of our mobile training program.

J.H.S.B. has one other unit that is in the design stages: a state-of-the-art MOBILE HOOLIGANS ALLEY. This will be set up on a live fire range. Individuals and teams will be able to run through the course of fire so that hands-on live fire scenarios can be conducted.

How does it work?

J.H.S.B. offers your agency two options with the A.M.U.L.E.T. program.

Option 1

This option offers agencies the best quality and consistency for training, but relies on an existing training program. J.H.S.B. will provide all of the above training equipment or specifically-requested components of the above while your agency supplies the instructors and courses with the support of J.H.S.B. operators and instructors.

Option 2

This option is good for agencies without a set training program or qualified instructors. With this option, J.H.S.B. provides the equipment, courses and instructors.

  • We train personnel in all levels of force; mental, as well as the physical levels.
  • All courses have three components of instruction: we instruct students in the classroom, we physically involve students in repeated simulations, then we test students with actual hands-on practice.
  • All courses are designed to make sure that your personnel have the knowledge and skills necessary to deal with the public safely and in total control. Your personnel will be able to fulfill their duties with confidence, authority, and the dignity that they deserve... but most importantly, they will have the knowledge and skills to return home safely after the job.
